Greenroots

In this project, my role centered on managing the content transition to a new website platform. I was responsible for reviewing, refining, and adapting existing content to ensure a seamless migration while maintaining consistency and quality. Additionally, I led the execution of the transition itself, developing new content ideas that aligned with the organization’s voice, mission, and brand identity.

As a co-designer of the website, I played a key role in shaping the site's visual and functional direction. I made strategic stylistic decisions with a strong emphasis on user interface (UI) design and accessibility, ensuring that the site was both engaging and inclusive. I also implemented SEO and UX best practices—adding descriptive alternative text, improving site structure, and enhancing discoverability—to boost performance and user satisfaction across the board.

I assisted in pairing images with text in a way that balanced visual appeal with accessibility.

This involved selecting imagery that not only complemented the content aesthetically but also ensured usability for all audiences, considering factors such as color contrast, alternative text, and clarity to support inclusive design.
